Fosun Pharma, together with the Fosun Foundation, set up the Special Fund for Fosun Pharma Health Care Initiative, 

which implemented types of social welfare activities in the fields of health care, scientific research and innovation, and public donation, actively fulfilling the duty as an enterprise.

  • Caring for Women,Pink & Blue Ribbon Public Welfare Campaign

    On September 16, 2023, Fosun Pharma and the Shanghai Soong Ching Ling Foundation launched the Pink & Blue Ribbon Public Welfare Campaign for the Care for Women at the Xishuangbanna Maternity and Child Health Care Hospital with the guidance of the Health Commission and the Women's Federation of Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture and the assistance of the Xishuangbanna Prefectural Office in Shanghai and the Xishuangbanna Team of the Shanghai Yunnan Aid Cadre Liaison Group.The Campaign aims to increase the screening rate of breast cancer and cervical cancer among Xishuangbanna women and help improve the level of primary healthcare. The campaign will provide free screenings for breast cancer and cervical cancer to over 16,000 women in Xishuangbanna and will also bring in nationally renowned medical experts to offer free clinics, training, and guidance. Additionally, the campaign will improve local medical accessibility by donating smart cancer screening solutions. The campaign also plans to provide free advanced study opportunities for local doctors in grade III level A hospitals in Shanghai and Foshan, so as to effectively improve the diagnosis and treatment capabilities of doctors in Xishuangbanna. This campaign would better contribute to Shanghai-Yunnan cooperation and bring a new stage to the public welfare cooperation between Shanghai and Xishuangbanna.
  • Hand in Hand- Rural Medical Talent Vitalization Plan

    In order to better assist rural vitalization, the "Fosun Care 121" Special Fund has launched the "Hand in Hand Rural Medical Talent Vitalization Plan" with the vast number of rural doctors as the target group. The plan includes "Four Ones", that is, a Pocket Book for Rural Doctors' Diagnosis and Treatment, a cloud guardian platform for rural doctors, a group of health care ambassador hand in hand assistance through online consultation, aiming to combine online and offline ways to help rural doctors master the expertise relating to diagnosis and treatment and health management, and obtain the timely and effective answers to the diagnosis and treatment.
  • Run for “TOGETHER WE BUILD A MALARIA-FREE WORLD” Charity Campaign

    On April 25, 2023, starting from Guilin, China, more than 1,600 employees from Fosun family companied in Cote d 'Ivoire, Uganda, Kenya, Mozambique, Angola, India, the United States and more than 20 countries around the world, together with external stakeholders, participated in Run for “TOGETHER WE BUILD A MALARIA-FREE. WORLD” charity campaign.
  • "Future Stars Program" continued to support education

    In 2022, Fosun Pharma continued to implement the “Future Star Program”, and set up scholarships and teaching assistantship in School of Life Sciences Fudan University, China Pharmaceutical University, Shenyang Pharmaceutical University, Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology and Xuzhou Medical University. Over the past year, the program has motivated more than 150 excellent students and teachers, in order to encourage students excellent in character and learning to seek medical knowledge and encourage teachers to be devoted to scientific research and cultivation of social talents. The cooperation in university- enterprise scholarship deepened the communication and interaction between Fosun Pharma and universities, and the cooperation in talent cultivation and provision.
  • Breas: Charity Walk for ALS Association

    Since 2016, a team of Breas employees has been annually organising a charity walk event for patients suffering from motor neuron disease – a 100km challenge along the River Thames. To date, the annual event has helped to raise a total of US$62,500 for charity, and the proceeds have all gone to the ALS Association's academic research and efforts to find a cure.
  • Gland Pharma: Free Breakfast Scheme for Children

    In November 2019, Gland Pharma launched a Free Breakfast Scheme for children of Government Schools in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Till now, nearly 7100 children of 58 schools are being covered. Gland Pharma provides financial support for the Scheme, while Akshaya Patra prepares and supplies healthy and hygienic meals from its community kitchens.
