The in-depth application of the Internet in the medical industry has greatly promoted the development of the industry, making a dramatic leap with more convenient and efficient medical treatment. To better understand the trend of Internet medical industry development and build closer relationship with outstanding companies, 1st Internet Application in Medical Industry Summit Forum was held on Sep. 6th, 2013 by Fosun Pharma, during which over fifty industrial experts and outstanding entrepreneurs were invited to share their results and talk about the future. Then, 17 outstanding entrepreneurs shared their practical experience in the Internet application in the healthcare industry, ranging from the opportunity of remote medical treatment to the Internet application in hospital management, from the evolvement of medical e-business to the pulse diagnosis application in health control. The industrial experts made brainstorm together to enable the audience to perceive the huge impact on the industry and the broad prospects of the Internet. Throughout the Forum, experts and entrepreneurs had shared their opinions and imagined a better future of Internet application in medical industry.

Chen Qiyu, Chairman of Fosun Pharma concluded the Forum: the healthcare industry is growing fast when Fosun Pharma is facing two themes - internationalization and Internet application. Given the impact of the Internet, how to build a net-based medical platform to upgrade the national medical industry, is a big subject for all the professionals to think it over. According to him, the Company will actively develop medical service business in inland second and third tier cities, increase the number of hospitals through acquisition, and strengthen development in the emerging Internet medical industry with priority in inland second and third tier cities including prefecture-level cities and affluent county-level cities in the future.
