Invested by Fosun Pharma, Fuling Future Star Elementary School will start its new session on Sep. 12th, 2013. From Sep. 9th to 11th, Fosun Pharma will advocate to donate books, stationeries and toys for the kids in Grade I, II, III and kindergarteners, so as to enrich their reading and knowledge, for a better tomorrow in the rural area.
Located at Pei Xi Village, southern Xin County of Henan Province, Fuling Future Star Elementary School covers a land area of app. 20 mu and a construction area of over 4,000 square meters including one comprehensive building, one teaching building and ancillary facilities, with a total investment of over 5 million Yuan. The school with a capacity of nearly 1,000 pupils greatly relieves the elementary education pressure of Xin County.

As a nationwide poverty alleviation priority, Xin County, Henan is a famous red revolution city of Dabie mountain area, whose economy is too weak to meet the needs of education development. The majority of rural primary and secondary infrastructure is to be strengthened.

About the future star welfare system
As a model to facilitate startup efforts by university students, Fosun Pharma has been actively supporting the education. As an important strategic part of its development, Fosun Pharma launched the future star welfare program in 2010, hoping to help more outstanding talents succeed and become brilliant future stars.

This program invested initially 2 million Yuan in two projects - including Fuling Future Star Elementary School and the Fosun Pharma scholarship in Shenyang Pharmaceutical University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and West China School of Medicine of Sichuan University. The company intends to create good environment, inspire the students’ passion, and promote the education for pharmaceutical industry in China through talents cultivation and discovery.
