June 2026 marks the fifth anniversary of the launch of YIKAIDA (axicabtagene ciloleucel), the inaugural CAR-T product from Fosun Kairos, a cell therapy platform under Fosun Pharma. Approved on June 22, 2021, YIKAIDA officially ushered in the era of CAR-T therapy in China, achieving a historic "zero-to-one" breakthrough in the nation’s cell therapy landscape, bringing new hope to patients and spearheading the high-quality advancement of lymphoma treatment.
 
As China's first CAR-T cell therapy, YIKAIDA has delivered comprehensive breakthroughs across clinical value, treatment network, and indication expansion, underpinned by evidenced real-world efficacy and stringent quality control since its launch.
 
Evidenced Clinical Value: Over 1,500 patients with relapsed/refractory (R/R) lymphoma have been treated with this product to date, including China’s first CAR-T recipient, Ms. Qin, who has achieved over eight years of cancer-free survival in complete remission. In June 2023, YIKAIDA was approved for a new indication: adult patients with large B-cell lymphoma (LBCL) that is refractory to first-line chemoimmunotherapy or relapses within 12 months of first-line chemoimmunotherapy.

Nationwide Treatment Network: Fosun Kairos has established over 200 premium YIKAIDA treatment centers across 29 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities nationwide, enabling patients to access high-quality CAR-T therapy nearby and significantly enhancing treatment accessibility and medical care convenience.

Accelerated Pipeline Development: A bridging clinical trial is currently underway in China for YIKAIDA’s third indication—relapsed or refractory indolent non-Hodgkin lymphoma (r/r iNHL), and the Breakthrough Therapy Designation has already been granted by the Center for Drug Evaluation (CDE) of the NMPA.
