Fosun Pharma’s subsidiary Chongqing Pharmaceutical Research Institute (“CPRI”) has established its industrialized incubator named Chongqing Ruizhe Pharmaceutical Co.,Ltd. (“Ruizhe Pharmaceutical”). A foundation ceremony was held on 12th September. The setting-up of Ruizhe Pharmaceutical became a new milestone of CPRI.

The foundation ceremony of Chongqing Ruizhe Pharmaceutical Co.,Ltd., the industrialized incubator was held in its plant in Changshou Chemical Industry Area, the national economic and technological development Area. Ruizhe Pharmaceutical is equipped with a site area of approximately 120 mu with total investment of about RMB400 million. Major products include Iron Sucrose, Pemetrexed Disodium, Rocuroniumbromide Series Intermediate, Abiraterone etc. Fosun Pharma estimated the annual sales of the company to amount to RMB650 million.

As one of the new medicine industrialized incubators of Fosun Pharma, Ruizhe Pharmaceutical will take advantage of the technical capabilities of CPRI and the comprehensive market network of Fosun Pharma. Ruizhe Pharmaceutical is positioned to establish international advanced quality system and launch effective and safe high-tech products continuously in a bid to further explore opportunities in the international mainstream pharmaceutical market. This in turn would provide a solid foundation for building Ruizhe Pharmaceutical as a new medicine industrialized incubator and an implementation base for the commercialization of its products.
